We build our competitive advantages in the modern biotechnology industry by placing research and development at our developmental core. Acknowledging our R&D achievements, we were recognized as a technology-oriented small and medium-sized enterprise by the Yantai Science and Technology Bureau in 2014.
In addition to in-house R&D, we collaborate with a wide range of partners, including international and domestic universities and research institutes, to further expand the depths and breadths of our health food and functional food product groups. In 2013, we signed cooperation agreements with Biology Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences and Qilu University of Technology. Our proprietary sea cucumber odor-reduction processing technique was the result of a cooperation arrangement between experts in China and Taiwan in 2017. In 2017 and 2018, we signed collaboration agreements with two "Thousand Talents Plan" experts with respect to future product manufacturing and development plans.
We will continue to make long-term investment in research and development efforts, and cultivate further collaborations with partners in the relevant industrial, academic, and research fields.
